    What’s sad is that in our current state, authenticity seems to be the commodity. Pictures, boomerangs, & reels capture the moments, but aren’t always reflections of reality. As fans & followers we now flock towards & ‘viral-ize’ who has captured the moment in the most appealing of ways. However, authenticity is now so rare, when someone is bold enough to share their perception of the truth, opinions that challenge the norm, & topics which drum up questions that seek more truth the whole world stops. We want the ‘tea’ – it’s human nature, but we need the truth.

      I believe in authenticity – I also ponder on the relationship between authenticity and wisdom. Is authenticity always the right answer? Will it always lead to the best outcome? Does authenticity always come with sacrifice? I’m still learning. I look forward to what authenticity brings in 2024. Does it grow our connections to one another or further define our differences and keep us apart?
